Johann Eyfells has exhibited in the 45th Venice Biennale representing his native home, Iceland in 1993. He was included  in the 9-museum traveling exhibition "What Nature Provides" and the United Nations' "World Artists at the Millennium". He has exhibited numerous times in the Central Florida area including the Flat as Flat exhibit at the University of Central Florida and a two man show at Gallery at Avalon Island.
